Garlic Noodles

Prep Time: 20 mins

Cook Time: 10 mins

Total Time:  30 mins

Ingredients:

1/2 package of Chowmein Noodles/ Spaghetti Noodles

6 cloves Garlic, minced fine

3 stalks Green Onions, chopped

2 tbsp Oyster Sauce

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

2 tsp Fish Sauce

2 tsp Sesame Oil

2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 stick Butter

Directions:

Cook the noodles according to package directions. If using Spaghettii, you can put a little Turmeric (about 1tsp or so) in the water, to add some color to your noodles (optional).
Drain the noodles and set them aside once done. You can hit them with a little oil and toss, to prevent them from sticking together (optional).
In a bowl combine the Oyster Sauce, Soy Sauce, Fish Sauce, Sesame Oil and Brown Sugar. Mix until the sugar has fully dissolved and set aside.
Heat a skillet over a medium-heat and add the Butter to melt.
Now add the minced garlic and about a half of the minced Green onions to the pot and stir until they become fragrant.

Now add the Oyster Sauce Mixture and stir for about 2 mins or until the sauce becomes bubbly.
Now add the noodles and raise your fire up to medium. Toss the noodles until they have all been coated in the sauce.
Add the remainder of Green Onions and cook for an additional 5 mins.
Turn your stove off and serve with your favorite entree! You can also garnish the noodles with some Parmesan if you’d like (optional).

Is it still delicious if you don’t use brown sugar?
