Grilled Honey BBQ Pork Rib Tips

Ingredients:

 

For the Pork:

 

2lbs Pork Rib Tips, cleaned and washed

1/2 tbsp All Purpose Seasoning 

1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder or Fresh Garlic

2 tbsp Ground Ginger or Fresh Ginger 

2 tsp Ground Pimento Seeds (Allspice Berries)

1/2 tsp Black Pepper

1 tsp Dried Thyme

2 tsp Onion Powder 

 Oil

 

For the sauce:

 

BBQ sauce (use your favorite brand)

Honey

 

Directions:

 

In a bowl combine all ingredients listed under “For the Pork”. Allow to marinate for at least 4 hours-overnight.

 

Place a deep skillet or pot over a low heat with 1/4 cup of water then place the pork in to cook or steam for 45 mins covered.Stirring isn’t necessary, leave the meat alone to cook.

 

In a bowl combine all ingredients listed under “ For the bbq sauce” add a little water to thin out the sauce if your BBQ sauce is thick. Set aside.

 Preheat your grill and spray the grates heavily with oil. Remove the pork from the stove at the end of the 45 mins and place on the grill to finish cooking. 

Allow the pork to grill for an additional 30 mins. Be sure to flip them halfway for even cooking.

 

Baste them with the bbq sauce for the last 15 mins and ensure to baste both sides. Allow them to grill until done or to your liking.

Allow them to rest for about 5 mins before serving.

 Serve and enjoy with your favorite sides.
