Weeknight Salmon Steaks

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cook Time: 30 mins

Total Time:  40 mins

Ingredients:

Oil

3lbs Salmon Steaks

1/2 tsp Black Pepper

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Dried Thyme

1 tsp All Purpose Seasoning

1 tsp Fish Seasoning

Salmon Glaze:

1 1/2 tbsp Chili garlic

1 tbsp rice vinegar

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp hoisin sauce

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp water

Directions:

Wash and clean your Salmon using cool water and Lemon Juice.

Pat dry and set them aside.

In a separate container combine the Black Pepper, Salt, All Purpose Seasoning, Fish Seasoning and Dried Thyme.

In a separate container, combine all of the ingredients listed under Salmon Glaze to create your glaze. Set aside.

Season the Salmon steaks generously using the seasoning mix.

Preheat your oven to 370 degrees.

Heat a skillet with enough oil to prevent the fish from sticking (about 1/2 of cup should get the job done). Make sure your oil is fully heated before adding the fish to fry for about 4 mins on each side and then set them aside to drain any excess oil. You can also add about 2 sprigs if Fresh Thyme to the oil for some extra added flavor (optional.).

Note: Do not fry the Salmon for too long to prevent them from drying out too much.

On a lined or greased baking tray, place the already fried Salmon Steaks and cover them on both sides using the glaze. You can use a spoon or a brush to apply the glaze. Top or garnish them with a few pieces of fresh Thyme.

Place them in the oven for 8-10 mins to finish them off.

Serve and enjoy with your favorite sides.
