Total Time: 35 mins

1 lb Shrimp

1 tblsp Jerk Seasoning

1 tblsp Soy Sauce

1 tblsp Hoisin Sauce

1/2 tblsp Dark Soy Sauce

1 tblsp Honey

1/2 tblsp Brown Sugar

3 tblsp Unsalted Butter

1/2 of a small Sweet Pepper, any color of your choice

Directions:

Clean and devein Shrimp if necessary and wash using lemon juice and cool water.

Season Shrimp using 1 heaping tblsp of your favorite jerk seasoning marinade. If you have a homemade marinade feel free to use it also. Combine and set a side to marinate for at least 30 mins.

In a bowl combine honey, hoisin sauce, soy sauce and brown sugar. Mix until the sugar has completely dissolved. Set aside.

In a skillet over a medium-high heat, place unsalted butter to melt. I used a non-stick pot as they are great for sautéing anything!

Place Shrimp in skillet and cook for about 2-3 mins max per side. Remove from pot and set a side.

Add peppers to skillet and sauté for about 2 mins and then add  sauce mix. You can also swish just enough water in the container to get any remainder of seasoning drippings left, that you seasoned the Shrimp and add to your sauce just to give it a little kick. Allow sauce to heat thoroughly for about 5 mins. Turn your stove off and add the Shrimp back to the pot and combine with sauce.

Serve immediately over white rice or with your favorite sides.
